About Fraser Glaze
Andrew Fraser comes from a glazing background, having served his apprenticeship in Glasgow and attended the Glasgow College of Building and Printing where he gained his City & Guilds City Glazing with 2 distinctions and A credit, Advanced Craft & Glazing and NVQ Level 3.
Andrew established his own glazing company in 1994 after many years glazing, with a shop in Waterloo, London.
The company then grew in both size and reputation, leading to relocation for larger premises in the year 2000 to Druid Street, SE1, London, where we remained until 2007.
Andrew and his wife Hazel, who works for the company, then decided to leave London which had been their home for many years and relocate to Carmarthen in West Wales (Hazel is originally from Carmarthenshire).
Still trading as Fraser Glaze they opened their new premises in 2007, forging new working relationships throughout the coming years.
After outgrowing our current premises in Johnstown, another move was imminent, so in June 2014 we opened the doors to new premises – still on the same industrial estate. With more room available we have been able to create a showroom (open to the public), where you can see/touch the glass/fittings and with displays such as balustrading, splash-backs, shower panels, mirrors etc. So please pop down for a look around when you’re next in Carmarthen.
Andrew still leads the workforce undertaking both commercial and domestic glazing projects to current specifications and health and safety legislation. All members of the team are happy to discuss any glazing enquiry you may have.
